Olofström is a larger region with several blocs dispersed widely around in the thick fir forests, which regularly are broken up by systems of long flowing lakes. The climbing is varied, mostly on solid rock and diverse formations.
The first climbers to search these forests were John Burgess, Daniel Ehmann and David Crawley—leaving after themselves some classics and lots of undocumented climbs. Later, also Carl Nilsask and Bjørn Iisager put their mark in the region with some splendid lines of higher difficulty.
